The Quest for Generic Viagra: A Prescription for Disaster

Part I: Introduction

Have you ever wondered who is behind those quack emails for Viagra alternatives, claiming to give you rock hard erections at Crazy Eddy prices? To my surprise, it wasn’t my ex-girlfriend, but rather, a secret underground group of generic pharmacies that wanted my money, at any cost!

In this investigation, I go undercover to see how far each generic Viagra dealer will go to get me hard and empty my wallet. My weapons of choice: A wicked case of erectile dysfunction and a good sense of humor.

Following is my interaction with three online companies from around the world to see how far each will push the boundaries of ethics and the law to make a buck.

The morning starts like every other morning: 10 work email messages and 250 emails claiming to help enhance the hardness of my phallus with generic Viagra and cheap Viagra Alternatives. It is a slow day at the office, so I decide to focus on my erectile dysfunction, which I didn’t realize is an issue until succumbing to the 249th e-mail.
